Just in time for festive braais and summer table gatherings, Nando’s has officially unveiled its latest collaboration alongside Springbok captain and national hero Siya Kolisi. Officially launched over the weekend at the opening of Nando’s new bespoke restaurant in Stellenbosch, the limited-edition Siya Sauce rolls out to Nando’s tables nationwide starting today, 3 November 2026.
Full-Contact Flavour, Gentle Heat
While Kolisi is known as one of the toughest, most uncompromising players ever to wear the green and gold, his signature sauce takes a surprisingly mild, crowd-pleasing turn.
Co-created alongside Siya, the recipe is rich with roasted garlic, bright citrus notes, and a subtle smoky finish designed to complement almost any meal without overwhelming the palate with intense heat.
“Developing this sauce was so much fun. Nando’s has that South African spirit, and we got to explore local flavour while connecting with the people behind the process,” says Siya Kolisi. “A few samples later, we landed on something I could eat every day, on pretty much everything. That was the one for me. It’s an incredible honour to have worked on this with Nando’s, and what I’m most excited about now is for people to taste it.”

Mpho Boshoga Illustrates the Iconic Bottle
Continuing Nando’s long-standing tradition of championing South African visual artists, the bottle features custom artwork created by Pretoria-based illustrator Mpho Boshoga. Known for his street-culture-inspired style, Boshoga brings an expressive, vibrant portrait of Kolisi directly onto the bottle label.
“Being part of this project is a life-changing opportunity to bring my artistic creativity into a space that’s all about culture, community and a whole lot of flavour,” shares Mpho Boshoga. “Nando’s has always had a unique way of bringing art and personality to the table, and this time they saw me. Working alongside Nando’s and Siya Kolisi is something I could only ever have dreamt of.”
Festive Campaign & Free Table Availability
To launch the campaign, Nando’s dropped a star-studded commercial featuring Kolisi alongside a crew of his actual friends and media personalities, including Siv Ngesi, Sobantu Nqayi, Ray Malo, Vafa Naraghi, Nina Hastie, Jam Jam, and Anton Taylor.
“The festive season has a way of bringing us all to the same table, so we wanted to give South Africans something fun to discover when they got there,” says Jessica Wheeler, Chief Brand and Customer Officer at Nando’s. “Siya is someone the whole country can agree on, and the sauce is much the same. It’s easy-going, packed with personality and made to be poured generously. We’ve made sure the sauce is available for free in any Nando’s restaurant.”
The Nando’s Siya Sauce is available exclusively in Nando’s restaurants nationwide as a free table pour for a limited time, while stocks last.
