If your skincare routine ends at your jawline, it is officially time for an upgrade. NIVEA South Africa is bringing facial-grade active ingredients straight to your body care routine with the launch of its Limited Edition Extra Bright Body Serum range.
To launch the new line, NIVEA gathered top media, content creators, and industry guests for an exclusive luncheon at Ukko in Bryanston. The event pulled out all the stops, complete with a beautifully restored 1964 Mercedes-Benz Cabriolet driving up as the campaign’s hero stunt, signaling a classic yet bold new era for body care.
Leading the movement as campaign faces are South African personalities Lerato Nxumalo and Ntando Rambani, whose fresh approach to modern beauty mirrors the brand’s shift toward intentional, head-to-toe skin health.
Facial Skincare Ingredients, Now Below the Neck
We have all learned to love actives like Vitamin C, Niacinamide, and AHAs for our faces. NIVEA’s new range brings those exact powerhouse ingredients to your body, targeting dullness, uneven texture, and dark spots to deliver a healthy, radiant glow in as little as seven days.
The new Limited Edition Extra Bright Body Serum lineup includes three targeted formulas:
- NIVEA Extra Bright C&A Vitamin Body Serum: Formulated with Retinyl Palmitate, Niacinamide, and Vitamin A to help fade dark spots, boost moisturization, and deliver UV protection for an even, dewy glow.
- NIVEA Extra Bright C&E Vitamin Body Serum: Packed with Vitamin C, Vitamin E, and Niacinamide to deeply moisturize while keeping skin bright, plump, and protected against UV rays.
- NIVEA Extra Bright C&AHA Skin Renewal: Features AHA, Vitamin C, and Shea Butter to gently exfoliate, smooth out rough texture, and boost overall radiance.

The Evolution of Mzansi’s Daily Body Routine
For decades, a simple body lotion was enough. But as beauty lovers become more educated on ingredients, the demand for targeted body treatment has skyrocketed.
“For generations, NIVEA has been part of South Africans’ daily body care routines. With Extra Bright, we’re introducing a new layer to that routine by bringing skincare-inspired ingredients into body care in a way that feels simple, effective and accessible,” says Angela Nxumalo, Brand Manager for NIVEA South Africa. “Consumers are increasingly looking for products that do more than moisturise. They want targeted skincare benefits for their bodies too.”
The Limited Edition NIVEA Extra Bright Body Serum range is available now at selected Clicks stores nationwide.
