Emirati singer, performer, and multi-hyphenate creator ALYA has officially marked her debut with “Lemonade,” the lead single from her forthcoming debut EP released via major music company gamma.
Blending modern pop, R&B, and dance beats with traditional Arab-influenced percussion, “Lemonade” introduces a vibrant cross-cultural sound rooted in ALYA’s Middle Eastern heritage. The track captures the playful excitement of mutual attraction while establishing a fresh new perspective in global pop music.
A Global Identity Rooted in Heritage
Born and raised in Dubai to an Emirati father and a British mother, the 21-year-old artist seamlessly incorporates her background in dance and acting into a dynamic visual and musical identity.
The track was recorded in Los Angeles and produced by Afterhrs—the Big Family-managed creative production powerhouse known for crafting hits for artists like Teddy Swims, Maroon 5, and One Direction.
“I loved every part of bringing ‘Lemonade’ to life, from recording in Los Angeles to developing the choreography and working with incredible talent in the UAE and internationally,” says ALYA. “It feels like the perfect introduction to this new chapter—fun, confident and unexpected.
