South African music fans have a new reason to mark their calendars this November. Código 1530 Tequila is launching Theatre, a music and lifestyle festival, in Johannesburg and Cape Town, bringing international melodic house sensation Lane 8 to the country for the very first time.
The festival promises more than just a stage for live music. It is designed as a full experience where sound, art, and environment converge to create immersive, memorable moments. Lane 8, known for his emotionally rich This Never Happened performances, will headline two nights of melodic house and progressive beats. He will be joined by Grammy-nominated duo Sultan & Shepard, whose deep, emotive energy complements the festival’s atmospheric tone.
Theatre’s concept blends music and lifestyle, with every detail carefully considered, from the production and setting to the atmosphere and community experience. The festival is supported by Código 1530 Tequila, a small-batch Mexican tequila brand, bringing a focus on quality, craft, and cultural connection. Theatre Music Festival will kick off in Johannesburg at The River Cabin on Saturday, 29 November, followed by Cape Town’s edition at The Ostrich on Sunday, 30 November. Gates open at 12 PM and the music continues until midnight on both nights. Tickets for general access and VIP experiences are available via Howler, offering options to suit different festival-goers.
